Our process ensures the highest level of product integrity guaranteeing you receive 100% natural crude oil
Kochii Eucalyptus Oil has it’s origins back to the 1990s, when the late Don Stanley (father of Kochii Director Ian Stanley) founded the WA Oil Mallee Association (OMA). The OMA encouraged farmers to plant Oil Mallee eucalyptus trees to help with combating salinity, soil and wind erosion and to provide shelterbelts for livestock.
Whilst our business harvests and processes only a few species of oil mallee, they are unique in their qualities, origin and authenticity.
Kochii Eucalyptus Oil produces oil from Eucalyptus kochii and Eucalyptus loxophleba lissophloia (York Gum) at scale and can supply orders from a few kgs to 10s of tonnes. We also produce small quantities of Eucalyptus polybractea (Blue Mallee) as it becomes available from the small plantings in Western Australia.
Biomass from our oil mallees is harvested, transported, and processed under the highest levels of product integrity to avoid contamination. The oil you buy is a 100% natural crude oil, straight from our distillation plant.
Kochii airs all of our production, stabilising the oil and bulk drums are protected with a layer of nitrous oxide prior to sealing with tamper proof seals.
Our oils are dispatched in Dangerous Goods (DG) rated containers compliant with all placard and DG documentation whether it be to domestic or international destinations.
With increasing production, we aim to keep lead times as short as possible. We have installed stainless steel storage capacity to facilitate larger batches for holding reserves of oil when needed. Oil sampling and analysis is conducted to customer requirements. Analysis is conducted by Southern Cross University or an equivalent independent laboratory.
