Kochii Eucalyptus Oil produces the world’s finest quality essential oil of eucalyptus from oil mallee trees grown on farms in the WA wheatbelt. It is an eco-system which is sustainable, enhances the environment, builds bio-diversity and is carbon negative.
The leaves of Eucalyptus oil mallees contain the valuable essential oil which protects the tree from herbivores. Eucalyptus kochii has the highest natural levels of cineole (eucalyptol) of any of the more than 800 species of eucalypts.
Our oils are extracted through the traditional process of steam-distillation, making our oils 100% Australian grown and produced.
Kochii Eucalyptus Oils are unique, pure, Australian, sustainable and affordable. See our range of products available online now.Visit our store
Our trees are grown naturally in shelterbelts across farmlands helping to reduce; salinity, wind erosion and drawing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. The unique feature of this species of eucalypt is that it will re-grow (“coppice”) to a harvestable size every two to three years. This provides a sustainable supply of trees on a rotational basis.
We have developed unique harvesters that will remove the foliage but not damage the trees. This means the trees will re-grow within two to three years and be ready to harvest again whilst continuing to provide shelter belts, reduce salinity and improve the environment.
The oil is extracted through the traditional process of steam-distillation powered by burning waste leaf from previous extractions. The water used in the process for steaming and for cooling is continually recycled through the production process.
Through the distilling process the oil is collected, filtered and put directly into containers before begin bottled. There is nothing at all added to the oil. It remains the pure and natural eucalyptus oil extracted directly from the leaves of the oil mallees.
