Spring Cleaning with Kochii
As we enter the last few days of winter, spring is on our minds, and with that comes spring cleaning!
Did you know that the definition of spring cleaning is going from room to room, top to bottom within your household and cleaning? As the concept of spring cleaning is widely popular across many cultures and customs, it’s not known where the term originates from, however many believe it comes from “Persian New Year” where khooneh tekouni” or “shaking the house” occurs. This means a thorough clean of the house, including conducting repairs from winter.
A motivating way to start the new season. Kochii is an exceptional cleaner due to its natural disinfectant properties.
We’ve put together our top spring cleaning with Kochii tips to help get you started:
- Organise cleaning supplies. Make up a big batch of miracle spray (find the recipe here) or if you’re time poor buy it premade here. Get your spray bottles ready!
- Clothes change over and washing – if your packing away winter coats and rotating clothes, our tip is to lightly spray eucalyptus oil and warm water on to clothes before packaging and unpacking to have them smelling fresh and clean.
- Use miracle spray to clean ceiling fans
- Add a couple of drops of Kochii oil to your vacuum cleaner filter
- Use water, dishwashing liquid and Kochii to achieve the cleanest windows
- Be sure to have all your windows and doors open while cleaning to allow air to purify
- Use a couple of drops of Kochii on a paper towel to clean down your mobile phone casing (Its been reported that mobile phones are dirtier than most toilets)
- If you have a four-legged friend, use Kochii to wash and disinfect their bedding and clothing
- Vacuum your door mats, they can be full of dirt that’s walked through the house, add a few drops of Kochii once you’ve cleaned them to kill any nasties and keep them smelling fresh
- Use Kochii Miracle Spray to wipe out all your reusable shopping bags, keeping them clean and sanitised
